The new sections are:

Methods in Climate Science
Example topics include: computational methods; validation of new methodological approaches; citizen science; software/hardware validation; meta-research design; research on statistical methods in climate science

Climate Impacts and Attribution
Example topics include: regional/local impacts; attribution of weather/climate events to climate change; attribution methods

Climate Resilience, Extremes and Tipping Points
Example topics include: extreme weather events; tipping points in the earth system; earth system resilience

Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
Example topics include: ML/AI in climate monitoring and prediction; ML/AI in early warning systems; ML/AI in energy systems; energy efficiency of ML/AI; ethics of AI in climate science

These new sections will welcome submissions across all our article types: Research Articles, Opinions, Reviews and Essays.
